Seamus, this is a T&T lover doing an LLM update. We haven't started the "You can't be a part time Llama" tirade yet so feel free to jump in.... Where is nobby when you need him

T&T lover? I posted about twice in that entire forum. One of those posts was my own thread.

Thanks,

~Ian

So what if he is a T & T lover and a "part time llama" as you call it - it's not a "closed shop" on this forum is it Hogie?

Problem is Ian, we play the game in a certain way for a reason. We don't just play LLM, we were born into LLM. Every regular here I can pretty much guarentee has hardly played a non-LLM CM.FM game in the last 5 years.

What I am basically saying is you can't switch off LLM like you are trying to do. It's got so much to do with realism and principles that none of us can even look at T&T or GPG. When any of us send screenshots, we are so pure we even block out names in paint.

It may sound silly to those who don't fully understand it, but this is just the way it is and the way it always will be and because of this we have the best community on the SIGames forum.

So, you either are or you arent, Ian. Make up your mind.

Iantiger, I refer you to the forum header.

Quote:
For managers that enjoy the challenge of bringing a lower league team to the top - without the need for tipping, cheating or bragging. ]
The following will not be tolerated:

* Player Naming or Tipping - Including all FM, CM from 01/02 onwards, and Real Life Players. (Staff and Ex-Player names may be deleted at the Mods' discretion)
* Tactics naming
* Use of Editors and 3rd Party Updates
* Bragging
The application of the header extends beyond posting in this thread. You've posted in the LLM section for months, and even though it has been a limited number of times, you would undoubtedly have come across the rules that you're not welcome in here if you post in the Tactics & Training Tips or the Good Player Guide sections. If you have not, it means you either can't read, or haven't bothered to look at what LLM is in the first place.

I find it a shame that Ian wasn't told this from the start instead of everyone pouncing on him at the first available opportunity.

After all, Ian is fairly new to the forum and most of us have fallen foul of the guidelines.

I say give the guy a chance....

Ok well I gave it my best shot at trying to make a decent update thread and hopefully to entertain some of you along the way. It's too bad that things didn't work out. Thanks for the hospitality and support. Goodbye.
