1. Can Conference N/S teams actually get feeder/parent clubs?
2. Say you get offered a quality youth product from your parent club (E.g. In League two/Conference) do you have to scout him, or is it more realistic to just accept the fact that any Conference N/S team would leap on the chance to get a player from these leagues?
Well, you could look at the situation in two perspectives
Your parent club are offering you the player, to gain experience. Therefore he is good enough for your team and is not requiring scouting.
Or your parent club are offering you the player, to gain first team or because they can not accommodate him in their team. This would require scouting IMO.

Cheers.
So basically, if it's because he's too crap for them, then scout, if it's because he's on the cusp of first-team football but they just want him to get experience, don't.
2ndchance, how would you be able to differentiate between the two "perspectives" without having scouted first?
I think you'd be better advised to keep your mouth shut and observe how things are done around here as opposed to making comments on what your opinions of LLM and its rules and guidelines are.
The only perspective that makes sense is that I'd want to know if he's the type of player I'm wanting on my squad, which would require he be scouted before I made any decision. I emphasize the word require.
That is interesting LFC. I was wondering about this - but more on a realism point.
I started the demo with Oxford and have continued in the full game. I got them promoted to L2, and they have an affiliation with Portsmouth. I can pretty much loan any of there players as long as the player agrees - club always seems to. I've managed to bag myself a couple of season long loans and they are good players.
If I do this, am I not playing the game in the LLM style. To me it is fair as the game allows it, but is it unrealistic in the real world and so should not be encouraged.
I'd say that however you get offered a player, that being through feeder relationships (haven't tried that yet - can you actually refuse?) or just by some random club, you gotta scout them. I always do, anyway. Stats don't tell you all that much, and the realism in signing someone "unseen" is always questionable.
