I think you'd be better advised to keep your mouth shut and observe how things are done around here as opposed to making comments on what your opinions of LLM and its rules and guidelines are.
The only perspective that makes sense is that I'd want to know if he's the type of player I'm wanting on my squad, which would require he be scouted before I made any decision. I emphasize the word require.
| Guinness I'd advise you not be so rude
I have just as much right as you do to voice my opinions, I have never stated my opinions are accurate just voiced what I thought was logical.
After reiterate my statement, It would be logical to scout the player before producing an accurate decision.

Rude? You haven't even seen rude. I was giving you advice, but if you are looking for rude, you'll certainly see it from me. And I'm tame. That's how us Canadians are.
Also, I didn't state an opinion. In here, we scout players before we sign them. Or trial them. That's not my opinion, that's how things are around here.

2ndchance. You do have a right to your opinion. However, you'll have to stick around a lot longer if you want anyone to listen to it. As the Canadian said, it is well advised to see how things are done, and that takes a while.

I gotta love veterans telling new LLaMas who are trying to figure things out to shut their mouth. Considering many finer points of LLM playing are open to interpretation, we wouldn't want new LLaMas to discuss things, would we? Might as well go back to Latin masses. I like you Guinness, and I'm not saying you're incorrect - but that wasn't the best way to say that.
2ndChance,
There seems to be a bug in my FM07 game where I can't offer to acquire a player on loan once they've been offered to me. My current workaround is to get a scouting report card and then respond to (or ignore) the original offer before it expires.

It's not a discussion point, though. If he would have bothered to read what we're about in the threads that existed before he decided to grace us with his presence, he would have figured that out. Perhaps I'm more irritable than normal, but it's a lot more tame than many a newbie has received in here.
For him to come in here and (wrongly) tell another new contributor what we're about, and what's acceptable, isn't really discussion. There are plenty of things that we can discuss, and with the start of every new version of a game, it brings in new posters who unfortunately mislead other new posters.
They just don't seem to get it when you say it to them without brutality.

I haven't played the new FM yet but I assume if you are a "feeder club" for a larger club you don't pay the players wages. If this is the case there is really no risk in the LL club taking the player without scouting him. You get a player for free for a year, doesn't really matter if he is pants.
Also it would seem to indicate from the screenshots that when clubs are in a relationship you get direct access to the scouting knowledge of the other club, therefore it would seem you have direct access to knowledge of their players. Surely if the clubs are in a relationship you can find out as much about the player you are offered anyway.
If this was the case I would think you wouldn't have to scout the player.

As has been said before, if this was the case (sic) then feeder clubs should not be used by LLaMas. Particularly in poofland.

| I have been mulling over this exact same point this weekend. As yet I have reached no conclusion. I await the opinion of the more seasoned veterans with interest.
