Hello.
I would like to ask the players that have in a long term game succeded in making an initialy very small club into a major club, if they found the games attendance as a major hinderance to their efforts?
Basicaly I am asking will the attendance increase fast enough to mimic your succes as you rise through the leagues? Or is it the other way around and you can never truly become a major club since your attendance is for better or worse capped by the hidden maximum attendance value?
As an example if you take a club from the Conference south that initialy had attendance of for example 1,000 into the Premiership (after a few decades?) and battle for the title there will your attendance be a number respectable for a Premiership side (eg. 20,000) or will you be stuck forever with a punny 5,000 or so?

well i got an average of about 400 so if your 1000 attendance rises similarly you'll have nothing to worry about

My attendance levels don't look quite right. It's been discussed in GQ but nobody can find a pattern.
I'm playing as Hitch and holidayed the first season while they were promoted from 'non playable lower league'.
2006/07.AI managed.non-playable.228
2007/08.Conference South........1381.Finished 3rd promoted via playoffs
2008/09.Conference National.....840.Finished 16th.
2009/10.Conference National.....607.Finished 16yj
2010/11.Conference National.....988.Finished 9th.
2011/12.Conference National.....586.Finished 8th.
2012/13.Conference National.....863.Finished 3rd lost in playoffs.
2013/14.Conference National.....698.Currently 2nd.
I haven't had any success in either the FA Trophy or the FA Cup. I got to the 2nd round (FA Cup) in 2009 and the 4th round (FA Trophy) in 2012.
There just doesn't seem to be any pattern as to why my attendances go up or down.
Is anybody else seeing this?

It will depend on which team you play as. If your team comes from a small town with only, say, 40,000 inhabitants, a crowd of 20,000 will be very unlikely except for the very biggest of matches.

| I wish. I'm lucky if 200 turn up at Harrogate.

i've taken Northwih from conference North to the Premiership over 22 years, my ground capacity is 2500, but i still often get crowds of less than 1000, which is totally unrealistic, as even if Northwich still had no fans, the visiting clubs in teh Prem would fill it week in week out. in FA and League cup games i still get crowds in the hundreds, and in my one venture into Europe, my first European game attracted a crowd of less than 500
