i hate it when my player shoots from a tight angle and it just does past the post and ends up going off near the corner flag and the commentator saying "and hes totally mis hit that" (or whatever it is), i mean it was inches by the post, but it was at a tight angle!

My goalie stopped a penalty for like the 15th time in the season (<-- bragging) he was "over the moon and punching air "
Well, I could imagine that, but we were 3-0 down and it was the 93th minute.

And I turned the 2d off after the very first game I watched:
We got a throw in, opposition defender heads it out again

Then I turned it off and promised myself I'll never turn it on again.

When the ball trickles out for a throw in the opponents half and the 'he puts it into row Z' line appears, it's even worse when you get 'he's taking no chances there' after it. They couldn't be closer to the truth, if only they did take some chances we might score some goals

Also, when it says "he almost got lucky with that one" and your thinking no he bloody didn't, he crossed the ball into the box and the goalie been rubish in the conference south could only deflect it behind for a corner!!

Another one I recall: When your midfielder gets tackled on halfway after being given a hospital pass, the opposition put together a 30 pass move and score and the commentator says "<midfielder> will have to take the blame for that". You what? I know he's crap, but give the guy a break.

hehe...almost (and I say almost) tempted to buy the game and update my commentary file for you blokes :p

Interesting some of the game comments..I can see two examples which have been directly ripped from one of my old modified commentary files...I demand a commision.

I once saw a striker miss a penalty and the opposition broke to score. The commentary blamed the striker of course.

My keeper once came up for a corner at the end of a game and the opposition smacked the ball down the pitch and scored...the comentators decided that it was a rash decision to come for that one!?!?
