Amusing - not so sure, but if I don't laugh, I'll cry.

11 first teamers out with injuries at the moment. 2 from the last game, 3 from the one before that.

Ha ha ha ha ha.

Can't wait for the patch

Replying to the original post - I am 6 foot 4 with a tenth of the flair and agility of a gangly England Centre forward but in my Sunday League playing days I did actually score a goal like this. I was often (always) a substitute brought on with 10 minutes to go to confuse the defence (I didn't know what I was doing so they certainly didn't). Anyway this corner comes over and its going behind me so I turned, stuck out a long leg completely in the air upside down classic goal.

So what I am saying is that low stats don't mean you can't do anything special just that the likelyhood of you doing it is very slim and high stats don't mean you will always do something.

Didn't a forgetful ManU defender score a beauty this season with one touch control and a perfectly placed shot into the back of the net whilst just this week a ManU wing wizard misses an open goal from 4 yards with atrocious ball control?

He has absolutely no intention of signing for your team at this time.
You will be able to sign him on a pre-contract agreement in 37 months time.

You should regard him as a definite potential signing.

My Kildare keeper is definitely working on the best comical goal routine.

30yder is pushed onto the post by my keeper about 10yds out, ball bounces back, hits my keeper, hits the other post, hits the original post, then rolls in.

Cue ******* scores a screamer from 30yds....

Both keepers out injured, so I had to use the U19 keeper instead.

Cue up 90 minutes of what can only be described as "opposittion lob training from 30m", and set it to Benny Hill music.

I laughed like hell, even though I lost 5-0

That's where you're going wrong - carp are better as central defenders, you need an eel as AMR

Tipping???? </BLOCKQUOTE>

As long as you don't player name and mention Billy The Fish.

Oh, hang on... :o </BLOCKQUOTE>

Where does the many City keeper who broke his neck in the Cup Final fit in here?

I hope to god it was his neck. (Not sure).

I hope to God it was Man City. (Not sure).

I hope to God it was the FA Cup final. (Not sure).

I hope to God it was the fishy name sounding bloke I'm thinking of.

Nobody knows what I'm on about do they......

[Cue tumbleweed]. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Yes, I know. It was a City 'keeper in the cup final who broke one of the bones in his neck but played on through it. Would tell you the name, but its against forum rules.

Ooooh, we haven't had one of these for a while. Nested quotes are frowned upon around here, for good reason don't you think.

Well done for not putting that answer with more nested quotes.

While managing in Switzerland, the opposition goalkeeper could be found in my penalty area attacking a corner. Defence clears it, lobs it found and my pacey striker runs on from the halfway line to tuck into the empty net. Nothing odd there, it happens now and then. The unusual bit was that it was in about the 60th minute of the match.

Next highlight and my central midfielder has the ball and who can be found putting in the tackle, the oppositon goalkeeper.

Next highlight he can be found wondering around in front of his back four.

If I can remember and/or can find the match that this happened in then I will save the .pkm file and upload it for you all to view. Very strange.
