Amusing moments in FM2007

Playing in the Danish Second Division as Hobro, lying sixth with one game to go, but waaaaaaay behind the champions Ikast FS and the other promoted team FC Fyn (Fyn have 49 points, we have 33). So I tell the players to just go out and enjoy themselves in the last game of the season against already-relegated Holstebro.

We lose, but who cares? Well, me for one, when the news article appears saying Hobro will be playing in the Second Division playoffs - "whatwhatwhatwhatwhatwhatwhat" say I?

So I check the table, and Ikast FS are actually a 'B' team, despite effusive news messages about "a new start for Ikast" and "the beginnings of a new era" when they won the league. Second place are also a B team, as are 4th and 5th. So 6th place was good enough for me to get to the playoffs

And we won \o/ (bragging bastard)

It's a bit funny, and a bit tragic.

My goalie have a tendency to run out, miss the ball about 10 yards infront of the box and desperatly running back to pick up both the ball and the attacker with the ball.

It's amusing if it's the opposition who does it.
Just tragic when it's my own goalie who does it.

I must have viewed that goal more than any goal I ever scored myself.
