I've never turned AVG off when playing. One of the reasons I use AVG in the first place is that it isn't an utter resource hog like Symantec and their ilk put out.
| The 7.5 version is apparently a little different and has to be adapted before it runs as the old version does.

I've been running 7.5 for a few weeks now. Seems fine to me. Will have a poke around when I next get to my PC and make sure nothing bizarre is going to happen.

Marc Vaughan just confirmed that not only is this NOT fixed in the patch, it is not in the pipeline either. He is claiming that it the fault of the other programme and SI therefore has no control.
How this can be the case when it doesn't affect FM06 or any previous issue I'm not quite sure.

For example AntiVir and Avast! always ask before they delete any files.

Define better, Liam. Since I don't personally have any issues with AVG, I'd need a compelling reason to switch. If you have some, I'd be interested to hear them.
