Default I think I'm going yoyo

I haven't played in England for a long time, so decided to do what is the first league for most of you.

Season 2006/07
Went on holiday for one year to get the start with a new club. Not really a season, so I give you three more.

Season 2007/08 Conference North
I take over a Grantham, in Conference North. With no players and no staff, my season is more about building a club and hopefully avoiding relegation. I manage to sign 11 players and a few staff before the start of season and after a poor start they gel together well with a 7 game unbeaten run. I get three more in from my new scout before end of season and we finish comfortably in mid table. The other new promoted team, Gateshead, won the division easily.

Season 2008/09 Conference North
With three new signings, plus two players loaned by parent club, Leicester, I race up the league. I didn't need to get rid of old legs when joining. One good thing. A 19yo dual nationality Canadian is the top scorer with 17, from the left wing!?
I finish safe in second, 5pts behind 1st, but 6pts ahead of 3rd. The playoff final was an easy 4-0 win over Kettering.

Season 2009/10 Conference National
The first season in the Conference National was a lot harder than expected. Despite another three players in my first team and two reasonable coaches, I spend the whole season going in and out of the relegation zone. I lose my final game to finish spot out of the relegation area on goal difference. My Canadian winger makes the national team, despite playing for a carp team. But he was not so bad, with six assists.

Season 2010/11 Conference National
My best coach and scout get poached by bigger teams. I get only 1k compensation for each, and am unable to sign any new players. So, I promote a couple of young players but the season was always going to be a struggle. After 3 games I was in the relegation zone, and despite some promising football, was never able to get out. Still nothing good in either cup. The only good news is that my wages were all reduced by 25% for relegation.

Good updates, however it's not very realistic to have a parent club in the same country, I.E in real life it's actually illegal.

We had a discussion on it and decided it's fine for friendlines but we reject any players they offer us on loan.

Season 2011/2012 Conference North
Just as a good yoyo jumps straight back up, Grantham were determined to do the same. Our young Canadian winger was beginning to be a bit of a star. After three years as fans favourite and gaining 23 international caps, he signs a 4 year deal. I manage to sign two more players of similar quality and some new staff. Leicester send me another loan player and we have what looks like a very competitive team on paper. Staying in the top half throughout, we go 11 games unbeaten from January and finish in the playoffs. We beat Leigh in the semi-final and a reasonably safe 2-0 win over perennial rivals Gateshead in the final. Success. I am officially a yoyo.

Thanks Craig. I read the debate somewhere, but wasn't sure what the final verdict was, as some countries it is normal.
Shame, the only two promotions I have on FM07 was with the loan players.
Is it alright from parent clubs of another country?
Is it possible to get a parent club of another country by request?

I would say in England perhaps not. I mean, a small conference club don't seem to have a parent club in Italy or whatever, however in other countries this is common practice, so I would say use your judgement.
