when you bid for a player, the assitant manager gives his opinion...
sometimes for a good player he will mention this player is a first team player
at times he says this player is vital, i think these kind of players are the best in the game

and also he mentions if they promising or future stars, if they are future stars i just sign them up.

so he does assist you very nicely in the game

i find it to be very inconsistent for some players, so tend not to rely on it that much

As with most things - you're the manager, its up to you whether you listen to his advice or decide you know best
