I used the standard 5-3-2 and just waited, when I got to the last 20 mins of a game if I was having a 0-0 draw i brought on 3 attacking players and set them to keep going forward, used short passing too.

If I was winning a game and it was a really tight affair, I changed to playing the long ball and kept players back.freshened up the midfield mid way through the second half.Fresh players make a difference when introduced at the right time.

It wasnt a boring season, a lot of the matches I played where really tense.
0-0 or 1-1.. A classy young Leo Messi comes on with 20mins to go and turns the defenders inside out, grabs the winner and bangs in another for good measure.Jon Obi Mikel (super sub).. I had a blast...

lol, the first match in the 08/09 season was depor, I got spanked 3-0.That season was a freak, everything just clicked.But it was mega.great fun.
