South American players are simply more technically gifted than their European counterparts.
But not all of them develop into world beaters and the database reflects that.
It is possible to have a player with great looking stats who has not got the "hidden attributes" to become a great player.
This reflects real life temprements and mental development of players.
SI have the best database of players available, with many many scouts who verify info.
Some incorrect ones may slip through, but not the number you seem to feel have.
I think its more unrealistic how easy it is to sign these gifted young brazillians with little to no competition. If in real life these youngsters were available (and as good as they are) premiership clubs would be snapping them up before the likes of bristol city even got a look in.
I think that aspect of the game should be refined for future versions.
i've bought three brazillian defenders who have all been rubbish. centre backs. they're still worth about £20 million but absolutely suck when i play them.
