Becuase of the lack of a 'print' option on the PSP, I'm considering doing an index card for each squad player.

Is this well over the top, or do any of the other managers use this tactic??

Slightly over the top mate, I hardly think you are going to be sitting on a bus or a train playing your psp while reading a file and carrying around loads of stuff, defeats the point really, the game is pretty easy so you shouldn't really need this anyway...
