I'm sure i'm not the only one who feels taunted by SI having to sit through all those opening screens. I'm sure i'm not the only one who clicks a billion times hoping the game will skip them all! So i thought of an idea to let people skip them.
If you've logged more than 30 days of real life playing time, AND you've opened the game 100 times (it would be hard to have one and not the other to be honest), you will unlock the option to SKIP all the opening screens and go straight to the main menu when you open the game. Kind of an obsession/loyalty bonus.
And it has to be real playing time...you can't go on holiday or leave the game on overnight, or the game doesn't log that time towards the bonus!
It would be a nice Xmas present to the fans (a lot of them will be unlocking this feature by Xmas most likely, if they've really spent half their time playing FM!)

Stupid idea, for skipping all the opening screens Post #2
I think the game is actually loading while those screens are showing, so if you skipped them you would just have a blank screen for a while as it loads.

And if some bastard tries to crack this option, then the match engine will give red cards for every foul, and every ball that goes into touch counts as a goal for the away team (no matter which line it goes over).

What exactly is it loading? I feel like it's just loading the main menu :p
It can load the rest of that garbage when i actually select "Load Game". I just don't want to have to sit there for an extra 10 seconds to press Load Last Game before going to get my orange juice :p

But then you'd have to sit there for an extra 10 seconds while your actual game is loading. In oother words, gain 10 seconds from not seeing loading screen, then lose 10 seconds as it takes an extra 10 seconds to load the stuff it didnt load in the first place. So theres no real advantage to it at all.
This is assuming that it is actually loading something, if not, then ignore this post

Well, that's my point.
Usually, when i start a game, i know i'm gonna sit there waiting for 20-30 seconds whilst my game loads. So i always have something else to do, like pour myself a (non alcoholic, #7 ) drink, or go to the toilet or something. Or at the very least open up the web browser and check my mail or something.
Sometimes i get the mechanics of this all wrong (like when i really have to use the toilet), and open the game, go do something, and come back, only to find that i have only accomplished getting to the main menu. And now i have to find something ELSE to do while my save game loads.
With the unlocked option, you open the game, and it goes straight to the main menu instead of the current opening screen. I can hit load game, and go do something while the game takes 40 seconds instead of 30 to load. In other words, i don't have to wait twice
