Or can we expect a second (and maybe even third and so on) patch in the future? Last years final patch came out in february and included data updates with january transfers. Are there plans to do something similar this year?

I am especially curious as I could rather concentrate on my studies now in that case, and start a fresh game in february. Until then I just enjoy the game shining from my shelve

No-one will know till the first full patch is released and tested and they see if there are any further problems, which require another patch. Therre will be plenty of third party updates for January transfers in the Editors forum if that is your main concern.

I believe there will be another one in Jan/Feb including data updates.

yep therll be a similar pacth like last year with the january transfer/data updates, probably out in febuary.

Who knows. But as someone says above, I also reckon there will be one out in Jan or Feb, Maybe even just a data update of the jan transfers.

I am not so much keen on the data update, just if there are still (minor) things left to be fixed after the following patch I'd rather wait. Otherwise I would start a new game anyway, when the patch would come out. And like Miles stated in his lated thread, you fix one thing and very likely another thing goes broken (although it might only be minor), then I'd rather have SI work on that later on.

I actually don't mind waiting for the patches. It's always been like this, that you couldn't play CM or FM before New Years Eve. But I like it that the game is out now, you can like "trial" it, see the features, and just wait for the things to be patched. Otherwise we would have to wait 2 more month to see anything at all.
