Does anyone else find the game really hard? I'm finding it very difficult to do well even with Arsenal or Man United or Barcelona.

not really, most matches are easy. i usually score 3 goals each game and only conceed 1.

It can also be very easy - nature of the game.

Luck plays a huge part.

closing down bug might be one of the reasons. i play offensive tactics to avoid that, i'll probably conceed 1 goal but i'm prtty sure i'll score more then 1 each game. some people say morale is broken in game and that of course has big influence.go to the tactics forum and try some tactics that are posted there.

usually it wont be the tactics it will be the training regimes you put in to each indivudual player thats what fm is all about take a real hands on approach towards your job and invest in youth and trust me, time will tell, jus look at arsenal!! lol, not really the more intense you can be with tyour players it should come off - u said problems with arsenal ?? try matias fernendez for £7.5 mil fanatstic signing or axel witsel from standard will be the new swp and just look at playing a counter and pressing with short side passing game - it will pay off!
