does any one have any idea why my psu keeps blowing, it is the 3rd psu this month to blow (iam running out of excuses for rma) it seems to happen every time a play a game, i can play pes 2008 for hours no problem but as soon as i start playing call of duty 4 the pc turns itself of and not back on, any help would be gratefull thanks

I found one they don't look to bad, if I’m honest I’d change to something else, I’ve got basically the same set up as you with amd and use a 550w seasonic, I wouldn't risk using the same psu again if you've had more than one die on you in case one day it takes out your motherboard with it, which im surprised it hasn't done already.

Also on ebauyer you can get antec psu testers about a tenner best thing I ever bought, or atleast get the guys at the shop to run it through a tester if they have one, it takes less than two seconds to test them.

They gone up in price, ebay got them cheap though.

does this mean out to you, my psu has 2 12v rails each have 18amps now am i rite in aussuming this = 36a overall or is it just the 18a cause my gpu need a minimum of 30a to run
