Good old LLM

Seriously though they could work if they were less percise. EG:

- Player has the potential to make it at this level (Leading star, Good, Decent)

instead of:

-Player would have the potential to be a leading star (Far too obvious he is good)

Any my points were referring to attributes. You use them in LLM right

When I say I wouldn't know, I mean't I wouldn't know what if the report cards are any good or not because I haven't had one .

We live off scout reports. That's the problem.

Doesn't mention anything about scouts assignments automatically restarting

It also doesn't mention the thinking behind the "date scouted" column being removed.

Please bring it back. Pretty pretty please bring it back.

I dont know if anyone in the know reads these blog replies threads but i have a question.

In past versions if the board said they didnt think you should have more than 8 scouts then you couldnt have more than 8. Now with this version if the board say it shouldnt be more than 8 but i think the club need 15, if i am under my budgets can i employ 15 scouts?

Is the human player at a disadvantage over AI teams in this area??

I ask because at regen time (or whatever you like to call it nowadays) any number of new arrivals have any number of clubs immediately interested, so they evidently don't have to go through the laborious scouting process that we do.

The detail of the scout reports merely addresses the balance, doesn't it?

Ideally, the AI would have to scout too like we do, but I think if us getting ridiculously accurate scout cards (we need to scout an unknown just twice to get a fully accurate prediction?!) 99% is way too far in the other direction, as well as being unrealistic.

-Scout are too accurate with the future ability predictions especially the higher quality of scout
-They know too much too soon it needs to be a far, far more gradual process
-Attributes should be masked longer or
-Depending on the scouts JPA stat they should be potentially wrong, increasing in accuracy the more you scout the player
-Scouts uncover stats too quick. Should be something like Key Physical, Key Technical, Other technical, Mental etc. Several reports should be required as this makes it more realistic. Currently you can scout a player and know EVERYTHING straight away.

Just a few of my feelings with regards to scouts and scouting.
All very good valid points.

And of course the first thread linked in this topic by Arsenal71 has even more great ideas and clear explanations of why the current system is flawed and needs to be fixed by a patch for many of us to actually enjoy FM 08.
