For those of you with an in dept knowledge on the scouting system, do scouts attributes really matter.

I have not done much research into this but was thinking of conducting a little experiment. I have always found with CM/FM that it wouldn't matter if you had a 'world class' scout or an 'obscure' one, they always find the same players.

Anyone disagree?

Bit of a contradiction there. I wouldn't call their reputation an "attribute". But I do always try to sign the scouts with the best Player Ability/Potential and the highest reputation (for the level I am at). Makes sense really. Aim high

Well, some of the players found would be the same - the more 'obviously good' players. while one would have to assume the scout with higher attributes would unearth more players, and would be more likely to be accurate when assessing the potential ability of younger players.

SWaRFeGa: I was a bit vauge but I meant that by being 'world class' they would have high attributes and by been 'obscure' like all the unemployed regen scouts would have very very low attributes.

Ricc- Are you speaking from experience or just in theory!?
