After doing , I thought it might be a good idea to share your best nights in Europe no matter who you may be. I stuggled to get into the knockout round relying on Juventus drawing against Olympiakos. Juve being Champions, I thought there was little chance but the score was 1-1 which sent me through. When I drew R. Madrid I was a bit worried, ahhh nevermind! Hopefully, we won't concede 7 at home
I still haven't gone through CL Quarter Finals with Panathinaikos.
My best night was when I drew 3-3 away against Inter, after being 3-0 down at halftime. I have also beat a number of great teams away, but nothing compared to that game.
My worst night was I was eliminated by Bayern Munich. I won 1-2 at Munich, but I lost 2-3 at Athens. The game winner for Bayern came in 94'...
It would have been the first time I would go through to the CL semis...
I am playing as Wigan Athletic and after 3 hard years in charge i finally got that 4th spot in the premier league to qualify for the champions league.
First up, i took on the holders Inter Milan and trounched them at the JJB 5-1
Its gonna be a tough group with marseille and celtic the other two sides.
2 candidates here, one from 06, the other from 07. the first in the early-mid 2010's with porto, with a great team with the likes of anderson (yes, that one),kerlon, stekelenberg (not sure its spelt like that) and Caracciolo (ditto), beating madrid to the tune of 5-0 or something similar (either that of 5-1) in the champions league semis at the bernebau. a truely top moment that was. the second was in my first game (in fact only my 3rd ever season) on 07, s ipswich I had taken them up and into europe in the first 2 seasons (compared to 3 seasons to do either task on 08), the first round draw pitted me against Roma, truely a european baptism of fire. as it happened I needn't have worried, in one of the legs, can't remember which one, I won 4-1. not so tough after all oh and to round off my main 07 game (which I ended after problems with data storage which I first thought was due to the length of the game, but turned out to be an annoying save file error bug), I decided to end at the 30 season mark and capped my career off by winning the champions league with man city now I'm finally in europe on 08 there could be more to come.
