After installing the patch I notice that some of the transfers to the premiership, their pictures have gone.

Then when I look in C/rogram Files and onto their picture (in the graphics files) that has just changed to the blank default pic thing.

Anyone else had this and is there any way i can get their pics back becuase they are the pics that came with the game (e.g Madjid Bougherra, Clint Dempsey, Jon Stead etc.)

The patch may have rest your preferences - so refresh the skin cache by turning it off and ticking always reload skin. In the preferences Display and Sound menu. (Also check to make sure player pictures are enabled).

Sounds like a licsencing issue.

When the game shipped those players were in a league where SI had a licsence to use player pics. With the update they aren't.

Releasing a patch for distribution will have all the legalities of selling a boxed game so leaving those player pictures in would violate the licsence of the company holding the premiership rights (EA Games).
