I downloaded a skin, extracted it to the right place, but when i go to preferences, display and sound then click on skins it doesnt give the option of the skin i downloaded. Can anybody help

Go to preferences, display and sound, and untick the Use Skin Cache box. Then tick the Always reload skin on confirmation box and click confirm. Reload the game and the skin should be in the list.
