I am creating a new person and i want to create a female non player, however the tick box for female is greyed out. Does anyone know what the problem is? I am running 7.0.2

all i can think of suggesting is that make sure you choose the 'non-player' option 1st

the female option doesnt work i dont think...i edited an existing non-playing female into a playing female but between editting and loading the database she must have had a sex change because it is a male once loaded

I just filtered for a female non-player, edited her, and voila! it was done.

Actually women are allowed to play in the main "men" game, and it has happened before. An account I can recall is some Swedish club who fielding a goalkeeper from their womens team as all theirs were injured.

The female attribute in game is for pyhsios, for them to be correctly spoken about in news articles (e.g. saying her instead of he).

She's not related to him, they just share a surname.
