Default Tweaking Players' values using FMM

Anybody else have trouble with the values you input sticking?

The other day I spent nearly an hour making the value of many players in my own team and other teams more realistic (Often with no drastic changes but only decreasing the values a few millions as I found they're often over-rated and in few cases, increasing them a bit) and the changes work but a couple weeks later, I noticed the values have gone to the unrealisticly high one they used to be and all that time I spent basically wasted.

Anybody else have problems with that?

I could understand if the values fluctuated through a few months from what I inputted seeing as how the player might perform admirably or horribly in those few months or win a few awards to raise reputation, etc. but for it to go back to the unrealistic amounts it used to be only a couple weeks after I change it is a bother.

the values are always changing.
You have to change the CA(current ability) to a lvl which is more or less equal to the new stats. It auto adjusts itself. (which usually lowers em)

In FMM if you chnage the value, eg increase or decrease it without also modifying there reputation then the game will change the values to correspond more realistically.

current ability has nothing to do with value increase or decreasing after modified in FMM, its the rep.

You might now, but current ability=0-200 represents how good the player is at this moment, and potential ability=0-200 equals how good this player might potentially become.

just in case you didn't know =)

rep related ?

so if I give a player with 60ca 89pa 20's all over and give him 10k in all reps you say it wont change ?

well I'll try it out =)

Obviously if you give him 20's all over with them CA and PA the game will chnage it back...the orginal poster is not talking about altering players stats...only players VALUES, he says

PA and CA conerning value and playing stats is something different...

Value changing after being modded in FMM is related as rep needs to be chnaged also

oh dont mind me I somehow manage to miss out on the "millions" in the initial poster ;-)

And that value is reprelated I concur wholeheartedly.

sorry.

Yeh I'm not talking about tweaking attributes or CA/PA at all guys.

Just player vlaues.

I've found a lot of players who are a couple millions over-rated in value not just in my own team but also many other teams in the same division and all around the game actually and so I go around tweaking their values to a more realistic level.

@JJ, in many of these cases, I also tweaked their reps but the change in value I'm making still goes back after only a week or so.

So perhaps this part of FMM only does a temporary change and not a permanent one like it does with many other aspects.

By 'permanent', I don't mean of course that the player value I'm inputting should stay forever.

But it shouldn't go back to what it was a week later if the player hasn't done anything drastically great or bad or won any awards or done anything period to go up or down in value.

The thing is, a lot of these players who are worth around 5-6M in real life are rated at around 10M in FM.

Of course I do find players who are under-rated in value as well and tweak them too but overall, FM has always over-rated player values for most (not all - there's always exceptions) players it seems and this version seems to be no different.

So I wouldn't mind spending the time making these values a lot more realistic but I'd only be willing to do it if I knew the change would last for more than a week or so. Otherwise it'd be a waste of time really. :/
