Hi,
Can anyone point me towards a comprehensive article that lists the Swedish League Structure.
I am particularly interested in discovering which div 3 leagues the top teams would be relegated to, in fact if anyone can take the list of div 3 leagues then add all the teams from the above leagues in the list, that would be better.
The problem with this is that it isn't predetermined where clubs will end up. Usually when a team is relegated from division 2 there are at least two groups they can end up in. After each season the groups are set for next season and this can change due to where that season's teams are located.
Thanks for the answer, I was just hoping ot find out for example where each Allsvenken team would end up if they dropped to division 5.
Because of the layout I presumed that each team would follow a pre-determined path (geographical) and that someone with a geographical knowledge of Sweden would be able to help, or at least point me to a website that would help.
Regional divisions aren't preset like that, as Fredrick says, the game rearranges the teams automatically so that each division contains teams closest to each other. Pretty much all regional leagues in the game act this way.
So for instance, one team could end up in group 1 one season, but the next season they could end up in group 2 due to the regional borders changing due to teams in the division getting promoted/relegated making it so the "regional boundaries" of the groups change.
