Default Changing the negative potential ability

Hi All,

I was wondering if someone could tell me a way i could change the negative potential ability as i hate the fact that your fate is determined by a random generator.

eg. My Barca team starts with half a dozen players with a -9. I want to change all -9 to 180 & if they get the right training they can be great. I keep starting my game up & they are rubbish. As too not give myself an unfair advantage i would like to change all -10's to 200, -9's to 180, -8's to 160 & so on.

Is there a way i can do this without having to go through the entire database & changing them one by one. can i just do a search for them, select all & change in one go?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

SI - can we please get rid of this random nonsense. A player's potential should be based on his training & not randomly generated. Especially when playing multi-player its so not fair when all of your friends get there -9's to come back at 170-180 when mine are all 150-160.

If you do it via the editor you'll have to do one at a time, if you want the player to be better right away you'll also need to change the CA level.

You could try fmm but remember its third party software if anything happens to your game SI probably wont help to much.

That suggests your training is a bit naff, and theirs isn't.

Not so. Training only affects CA. PA is set permanently every time you start a new game.

personally i like the negative PA as it means that a player can improve to a certain peak if used correctly but drop down if not, makes it more realistic

There's absolutely no difference once the game has started.

Once the game starts all the negative PA's are randomly set to positive PA's within their range. After that they don't change.

What you're talking about is CA, which may or may not reach the player's PA over the course of the player's career.

al least someone understands what i mean. thanks Snoweel. Can anybody help me though?

the reason i want to do this is I believe a players potential should be based on their training & not randomly generated by the computer. For instance the other day i started a multiplayer game with a few mates & all my -9 potential players came back between 150-160 whilst my friends had mostly 170-180. this puts me at a huge disadvantage & i can't just change my players as thats unfair, i would like to set all the -9's to the same value. i would also like to do this for -8,-7 etc. it would take me forever to do this one by one so i was hoping someone knew of a way i could change them all in one go. like select all & change.
