Have anyone actually downloaded the april update and managed to unrar/unzip it? it comes an unknown .7z extension which opens but have nothing inside to unrar/zip. Why make it so troublesome for us with an unknown extension. The march update was completely fine. This time we have to register in your website and download it.

JasK - Have you got winrar? If so go to Start > Programmes > Winrar. Then once in winrar go to options > settings > Integration then under associate winrar with tick Z. Im really sorry about the unknown extension, im going to speak to the staff member who uploaded it and see what happened, so once again i apologise for that.
As for having to register on the forums we have always done this, however last month the forum has been getting a sort out so we just posted on SI instead.
Cheers
Michael

Replied in weegie forum. Just thought i will post here for the rest who might face similar problem.
I have winace. Don't need actual winrar or other programs to uncompress a rar archive or many other archives. However, i just checked and i dont think winace and a lot of other uncompressing programs can uncompress a .z extension. I went to download winrar 3.7 beta and .z extension is ticked. With winrar it works, with other compressing software, it doesn't.
Is there any difference/benefit/special using .z? instead of an rar archive or zip archive. If not, why not make it an normal rar archive and open up the data update to many more users, especially the not too technical ones, who does not have winrar or programs that can only uncompress rar/zip archive.

The z extension was an accident as we dont normally use it, however it wasnt me who uploaded it as i use the rar extension. It shall be fixed for next release.
