Sorry, but I cant provide an answer. These diagnostic screens appear randomly and pretty infrequently ; after 200+ matches, I've only seen these screens 3 times.

Great discovery by Hatman to add support to an argument that the match engine is fair...the AI does not gain any unfair advantage over Humans.

Hardly. There are 1000's of different tactical combination's (not including all the player variables, and every other variable SI threw in) and people will just claim you didn't get one of the few that would work. I wouldn't be surprised if the human player has a much smaller % or working tactics then the AI!

If people want to test tactic\cheating properly the only way is going to be to obtain something like VMware where you can save system states and replay everything. The problem is you will still probably have to hit 'continue' at the same time and probably same spot, as this is probably one of those variables that help determine the (HUGE and many) randomness of the game.

I am baffled by how much people are concerned by whether or not the 'AI cheats'... We all know that the results are not fixed, because you CAN change the outcome of a match by making tactical changes. We have all done it and seen it happen. So why the sudden questioning of whether the match engine is fixed? Of course it has to determine a result before the game is played, or at least before highlights are played. I'm guessing it would take huge amounts of processing power to keep EVERYTHING totally random and constantly changing, plus it would not be like football.

Think of it in real terms. If one team starts better and their tactical system is superior to the other teams, then of course they will dominate the game until the other team change their system. When this happens, then the other team may come back into it. So it makes sense to calculate a result from these criteria.

And after all, if you dislike how FM calculates the matches, then stop playing. I'd like to see you find a better football management sim out there with teh levels of detail and reality that FM has! So stop crying about small insignificant things and just enjoy the game SI have spent years creating for us, rather than complaining at every aspect of the game!

You can have the exact same tactic as what the AI is using...besides such has no relevance to Hatman's discovery.
