I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong... I've set two players to stand back, one to stay outside area, and rest to stand on far post. However, when I see the corners in 2D-view, they are not standing on far post at all, but running around everywhere around in and outside the penalty area. :S

yep, same problem here, defenders i tell to always stay back, are often trying to nod the ball home, up the other end! most annoying when the other tema, hits me on the break and scores!

You can only have 2 players with same instruction at corners..if you have 6 players with "stand at far post" 4 of them will do whatever they want.
Also remember that if your cornertakers "creativefreedom" slider is to high, he will not follow your instruction.

it has to do creative freedom. giving players a lot of creativiy means that they will do whatever they feel is right, so try and lower creative freedom. hope that helps

But if what Joor says is correct about only 2 players per instruction, then I'll try that as well.
