A good one.

Must have good decisions, creativity, passing stuff like that. Usually I give it to someone who is a standout player.

Generally, people who have "FC" as one of their listed positions instead of "ST" will make a decent bet for a Free Role.

Each player has their own free role rating, which can be viewed from any in-game editor, but, of course, that might be classed as cheating (from a certain point of view).

Basically, a player who makes such an attacking impact, and that you can trust to make good decision, that you will let him decide where to go, and what to do, as you know he'll contribute.
