With the real life Prmeir League underway and FM 2008 on the horizon I though I'd get people's opinions on what has been the best tactics they have used from this board so far in order to determine the undisputed 'best' tactic.
There's no such thing as undisputed best tactic. Everyone who download the tactics are using different teams, have different tweaks, and have different successes. There's no such thing as a undisputed best tactic, and no benchmark for one to judge so anyway. Though it is possible to say which are the better and more attractive tactics.
But I found that with WWFans tactics you did'nt really have to tweak, just swap sets based on your opposition's approach.
I think in real life even the best managers tweaks somtimes don't work even against smaller teams.
I mean just look at Alex Ferguson over the weekend he tried everything (perhaps even giving the ref a bribe) to get a result against reading but couldn't.
One thing that I think would be a great and realistic addition to the next game would be the option to encourage your players to cheat by diving fouling etc perhaps by including a 'dirtiness' slider or something.
I think this would represent real life really well as in the premiership there are managers who encourage their players to play fairly and never dive, foul etc such as Wenger, Benitez, Jol and then there are managers who clearly encourage it such as Moyes, Ferguson and Mourinho who's training sessions are composed of acting and synchronised diving. Not trying to get at anyone here just trying to emphasise my point with the obvious examples.

Are you serious mate? Did you see Henry's dive last year against Wigan? or maybe some of Gerrard's best flops? Get real mate.

Who's your favourite team then crazyrap465 Chelsea with Arjen 'touch my face and I'm paralysed' Robben, Man Utd with Wayne 'lay down so I can stand on your plums' Rooney or Everton with Andy 'I'm in the box! nudge me please!' Johnson?
I agree with you Lordy on both WWFans being one of the best and them stopping working sometimes halfway through the season. I think this is due to the fact that reranking seems to kick in at random times on different games.
