Most of the time when I go up 4 - 0 at first half my team wind down and play relaxed in the 2nd half and didn't score anymore.

The half time talk I usually is "I'm thrilled", what else should I use though?

The formation of both team are the same, I'm not talking about case where team change to the 33211.

This also apply to my team when I win the League 3 or 4 rounds early. My team just too relaxed and not as lethal as well. How do you counter this?

i have the same problem a lot of the time, and tbh i dont know what you can do cus noting seems to work. but if youre winning games like 4-0 and youre winning the league with games in hand, obviously youre not doing a bad thing :thup: just give the youngsters a few games or something

I've had this problem alot aswell, leading half-time by a big margin (say 3-0) and then in the second half nothing happens.

No idea what to do to prevent it, sometimes try making a sub at HT or early in second half but doesn't always do much.

Try "Don't get complacent" as your team talk. Works every time

This works and so does the 'Don't let your performance drop' option. You can also try encouraging your team by using 'encourage' as you team talk.

Hmm...depends on the scoreline.

1-0...always say encourage. It will be available
1-0 against a rival......"don't let your performance drop
1-0 and the average rating is 6 and morale is superb...I will shell my 6 players with superb morale
1-0 and some players have 6 and have morale of good..then everyone gets encourage, those who have sub-superb morale get "have faith"


2-0...average score is 7...I say nothing
2-0 more than 3 players have 8...I say thrilled.

To be quite honest, I'm happy with a 3-0 half-time scoreline and care not a jot if nothing happens second half.

I tend to use 'pleased' or 'thrilled'.

What about if it was the last game of the season and you needed to beat the team you're playing by at least 4 goals?

Try telling your players individually your disappointed, and perhaps one or two players that your pleased.

Ive never had as good a response from telling the team im disappointed than I have by telling the players indivually...strange eh!
