anticipation, decisions and OTB impossible to improve via training?
Im playing with milan right now..and trying to retrain Gourcuff to a MC/playmaker.
Getting him to accomplished as center Mc wasnt a problem, it only just took me 7 months..
But so far hes decisions, anticipation and off the ball skill are still 11,14 and 14 after 1 season and 6 months - which isnt that great.
As you can see here hes workload is very high in tactics but there has been no improvement ..its only hes passing and creativity that has gone up from 16 to 17. Hes 154 CA 175 PA in my game btw .
And ofc I have 5 star trainers in everything...any ideas? or should i just hope they will go up as he will become older(natural progression).

Yes I know that..but why isnt it then ?
Maybe becourse hes CA has only gone up 3 points from hes starting point(154) ? no more room for improvement yet ?

I've done various tests using genie scout looking at player development and to be honest you'll be lucky if they go up by 1 more point.
As soon as players get that close to their PA their development slows dramatically, and the major gains you can get are in consistency and important matches hidden attributes.
TBH from the tests I've done it's made me question training and player development. For example I had an attacking midfielder whose training schedule involved very light defending and high attacking/shooting yet over the 1 year period he was on that training schedule he had a gain of 23 CA points IIRC which were more or less evenly distributed.
His tackling went up by 1 point and his passing went up by 1 point despite their training schedules being on opposite ends of the workload scale.
I think that what intensive training does is give you a boost in attributes maybe a point beyond what the CA model determines them to be but at the risk of more injuries.
