Hi I did a post recently on what players i could buy for my stevenage borough team at the end of 06-07 season.
The club is still in the conference btw.

Anyway i am in july so lots of time to buy if i need to.
Here is my team containing the players i have bought.

GK: N Liversidge D Potter R Burch

D: B Fuller B Starosta C Osano(sp?) L Oliver R Henry J Strirling J Nutter L Mitchell

M: A Newton S McManus(sp?) C Dobson M Collins D Lee G Boyd & 2 central midfielders from premier league clubs who are teenagers i cannot remember on the top of my head. Also a left winger on loan for the season from Crystal palace.

St:L Briscoe D Oliver I Armstrong S Ramsay S Morrison

Im desperate for promotion to league 2 in the 07/08 campaign as i badly underachieved this season

I wondered how people thought of my team and if they can give me tactic for it and what people i can put in it.
I know people will say try another forum but i think i will get a better response here
Also any advice on key players on the team.
If u have not heard of some of these players please look them up and give me a good opinion.

There are millions of threads on tactics for lower league sides. Just read the description and see if it fits your team.

If anyone has played with stevenage give me your opinion of this team please and tell me what was ur formation for them

I have no idea as to the ability of your players but I would reccomend that you try to build a simple solid formation and take it from there. I would suggest that you play a flat 442 and look to utilize the wings so that you can put many crosses into the box for your big target man (if you dont have one get one!) to get on the end of.

Keep things simple trying global mentality and closing down. A good attribute for the lower leagues is strength, pace and height so look to get these kind of players into your squad. :thup:

I have been really busy...so I haven't had time, this thread just cropped up on me...this thread breaks some house rules.

When coming into the forums, we generally prefer people not posting asking for tactics as there isn't the one tactic that will fit all players. Ideally you want to read through some of the threads with tactics, there are some pretty decent tactics here by my reckoning. You could try them out and then post details on how you could make the tactic work with the players you have or if you need to change your players.
