I'm currently in the 2011-12 season after spending 2007-2010 as England manager and 2010- as the Manchester United manager. I've used the 'bRAzIL's 4-3-3' tactic throughout the game and by and large i've been pretty successful. However, i've found that 70% (there or thereabouts) of my shots go over the bar because my players have tried blasting it. They are instructed to rarely try long shots and their creative freedom is fairly low.
Last season Rooney was my lone striker (the tactic has two attacking midfielders too) and he only netted ten goals, which is a bit odd.
Does anyone know how I can get them to try placing the ball instead of blasting it? I should be winning by impressive margins but i'm not because so many shots are off target and over the bar!
