This may be a Board Bug. I have read some other posts about serious problems with board expectations...such as a manager at an English Championship club where the two year goal was to win the Championship (or promotion, I forget). He got them promoted and the goal stayed to win the English CHAMPIONSHIP! (not Premiership) He got them to the Champions League and was fired for not winning the English Championship, even though the club was no longer in that division.

Or maybe it is just because you are in Spain. Beautiful sunshine and chicas bonitas, verdad?

Take up Arsenal mate. The board is wonderful there. They're ambitious and as long as you get them trophies they'll be happy. Dont restrict you on anything, they'll give you your feeder clubs whenever you ask for them, they'll give you good transfer budgets, dont interfere too much with transfers (except PHW going mental when someone offers over 10M for Denilson. He always seem to accept that offer the joker!).

But in terms of players and winning trophies, Valencia should be ridiculously easy to manage. The amount of talent in their team is just silly!! 4 of the best players in the game in Villa, Silva, Vicente and Joaquin. One of the best TM's in the game in Zigic. Good defenders in Albiol and Alexis. And then they have Sunny, Aaron and Mata as 3 really exciting prospects. Hmmph. Its a wonder that they dont win more irl.
