I'm in season 2 with Arsenal, and I'm considering selling Fabregas.

Now his attributes are great. He seems perfect. But he keeps playing on a 6 whenever the rest of the team are 7s, he's a 7 when they're 8s. Occasionally he manages to play on an 8.

But does he ever play on a 9+? I see him play on a 9 like once a season. I don't understand why he isn't performing better. He averaged at 7.11 last year, managing 5 goals, 4 assists, 1 MOM in 54 games... This season hes a bit better; 1 goal 7 assists, 1 MOM, AR 7.21 in 28 games.

But why isn't he getting more 8s and 9s? especially with his abilities. He makes the most passes per game, and most accurate too, e.g like 50 passes, 48 complete. He seems like a crucial part of the team, linking the defence to the attack.

Has anyone managed to find a way to enable Fabregas to perform at his potential? Anyone got a 7.50+ AR from him in a season? If so, please, enlighten me.

for my team i have fab. and he is great. i think i really depends on what is the tactics that u are using. for me most of the time he is a 7 or 8

Well I play him CM with these instructions:
Mentality NORMAL
C. Freedom LOTS
Passing MIXED
Closing down OWN AREA
Tackling EASY
Forward runs MIXED
Run with ball MIXED
Long shots MIXED
Thru balls OFTEN
Cross ball RARELY

And he is my playmaker.

What am I doing wrong, he's playing on a 7 most of the time, sometimes a 6.

reduce his creative freedom.

also play him alongside a more attack minded CM. give cesc an arrow going backwards as he can dictate the play more and would probably get a higher pass completion rate.

He's done well for me in my team and he hasn't got below a 7 since my first season. I admit, with a player with his quality on the game, he should be getting 8's all the the time but i think on the whole the rating system on the game is a bit harsh on players and half the time it only seems you can get a 8+ rating if a player has scored a goal or made various assists
