I have noticed that the game employs age discrimination when determining your experience, which although an advantage for old farts like myself, is a bit silly.
I started playing in the Northern Ireland second division as Dergview, putting down automatic as my rating & was surprised to see myself rated as obscure even though the club & league are dire. I then read about all these people having unproven reputations, mainly in the Conference North/South, but also elsewhere. Thinking this strange & being an nosy git, I experimented with new players in these leagues & kept getting obscure rating. It then came to me that perhaps it was the age of the player, so made myself 18, which automatically set me to age 30, & was suddenly an unproven nonentity. Looking at the unproven managers for the Uk, I discovered they are all aged between 25 (minimum) & 35, with anyhing over being obscure or better.
Although most people couldn't be bothered, it seems silly that an old fart seemingly has more experience than a younger model, when in reality he might have only seen the game on the telly or be a yank & thought he was playing that game with the drug induced cavemen in body armour.
