I know I should have bought the full game version straight away but alas.. I have downloaded the WSM demo and have really taken a liking to my useless Blyth Spartans team. Now that I will be buying the game tomorrow, having played the demo with the largest (demo?) database possible, will it affect me if I continue playing the save I started off as a demo, i.e. will database size and having played a half a season with a preliminary version of the game's code affect my (hopefully) long career? Should I bite the bullet and fully restart, possibly even waiting for the patch to come out (if I even can that is)? Ideally I would like to continue playing with the Spartans but I have obviously gained knowledge I wouldn't have otherwise done. Even if I take another club, I will still have devised some ideas about what might work tactically in FM2007 lower league football and with regards to training that might have an effect on how I will start a new game. How do you guys and girls (?) usually handle a situation like this?

Demo save games are compatible with the full version, I think, so you should just be able to carry straight on with the same team at the same point

I thought that the demo quickstarts were small database only.

Technically I did not play a quickstart. I started a new game and selected the largest available database size. From the small number of players my scouts are finding you would be excused for thinking otherwise though.. Can somebody give me a definitive answer on this? LLM is difficult enough as it is, so I don't want to be playing a career game with a small database..

I have an objection (as always).

Demo does not allow you to play the lowest league possible. Thus, IMHO it is not LLM to play demo in your full version of FM.

But then again, that is just me.

The WWSM demo may be different from the FM demo.

The World Soccer Manager 2007 demo I downloaded from the official SI Games site has all the English leagues in. As I said, I played my demo with Blyth Spartans, so that shouldn't be a problem.
