How old is your oldest player?

Playing in the lower leagues, I think it happens that we play older players a lot more than those who just go for easy glory (non LLaMas). I was just wondering how old your oldest player is? (he must have taken to the field, you can find it in your records screen).

In FM2007, mine was 45yrs and 72days. In a conference north playoff final. (what a way to bow out)

In CM4, I had several players playing well into their 50's, but think this was a bug as they had announced retirement 20yrs earlier and had spent 20yrs on a month to month contract as they wouldn't sign a new one due to impending retirement.

My oldest player is my sub GK at 35 yrs and 156 days when he filled in for my younger GK who was out with injury.

I must confess, my veteran did not play any other game that season. He was brought on for the last 8 mins for a farewell.

wow, some youth policy.

I try to sign the young ones, but always seem to end up with the odd oldie hanging around.

My veteran was an AM L, which is unusual as like BluMoon, my oldest players are usually keepers. He was already at the club when I got there.

FM06 42 yrs 32 days

My Ass Man/Player I was using as a back up in case of injury by this stage.

Though I didn't tell him that. Shh! :thup:

Oldest player 31 is and average squad age of 23.

I don't even have a youth policy. I had no choice early on as I had no transfer fees but have really only signed 4 or 5 players in the past couple of seasons. As I said, it shocked me that the oldest was under 30.
