I find it starts to grow back after about 3 weeks.

In CM4, I had several players playing well into their 50's, but think this was a bug as they had announced retirement 20yrs earlier and had spent 20yrs on a month to month contract as they wouldn't sign a new one due to impending retirement.

The oldest in the current version of the game was 34, although in earlier versions I've played someone as old as 53 (a striker, who did find the net several times).

I've once tried to sign a player a few years after his 100th birthday, actually a player coach and I was really struggling to find anyone interested at the time. He refused though.

Also, less seriously tried to sign a 196 year old (more to see if he'd actually be prepared to play a game, rather than actually signing on a permanent deal).

Talking about how much players weigh in the game, does it change according to the training schedule?

In real life, a certain disliked ex Nottingham Forest left back put on many a stone after a training schedule consisting of being removed from the rest of the squad and being forced to eat pies 12 hours a day. This resulted in excess weight being put on.

The fans used to throw Mars bars at him.
