Default Moving fm Conf South to Conf North

Hi Everybody,

I've started game with Bedford in Conference South. First season finished 8th (2 points fm the promotion zone).

And then suddenly, started 2nd season in Conference North (as well as Histon and 1 or 2 more clubs, I think).

As I am not Englishman and I am not quite familiar with the lower leagues regulations, could somebody please advise is the above happening in true life or is it a bug of the game. I mean, are there any geographical re-arrangements of the conference North/South participants after each season.

Thanks in advance to anybody who can throw any light on this.

There are, though I wouldn't really expect Bedford to shift.

I dunno - depends on who else was in the league? Although I'd have guessed Bedford was slightly too far south to be in the northern league, it could have been a freak series of relegations / promotions that led to it?

They might do - Kettering, who are about 20 miles north of Bedford, currently play in the Conference North.

As Matt said, it may be due to much more southerly clubs getting relegated from the Conference, leaving Bedford in the Conference North.

Yeah Bedford are reasonably far enough north so as to be at risk of being moved from South to North id have thought.
