Default Wind of relegation

Good morning.

I know I shouldn´t be doing this. I really should be concentrating on my exams that is coming up in a couple of weeks. But this is so tempting. This truly is the Beautiful Game.

Here is just a little veggie-update, please enjoy.

Season 1 (06/07): Vauxhall Motors (Conf. North)

18th Pts.: 49

Off to a good start and found myself midtable by Christmas. Managed to get myself involved in the relegation battle near the end though, but ended the season 4 points above the relegation zone.

Can´t remember how bad I did in the cups this season.

Season 2 (07/08): Vauxhall Motors (Conf. North)

19th Pts.: 39

Started less good than last season, needing 21 matches before finding the winning ways and rock bottom by Christmas. One game left of the season and I´m 1 point behind Gainsborough. They lose, and I draw 1-1 and stay up with a goal difference that is two goals less bad than Gainsboroughs.

Can´t remember how bad I did in the cups this season.

Season 3 (08/09): Vauxhall Motors (Conf. North)

21th Pts.: 40

Had a really good start to this season, before finding the losing ways in the beginning of September. Drove the Vauxhall out of Conference North and was sacked after the season ended.

Had a good cuprun this season, reaching the 2nd Qualifying Round of each cup.

Season 4 (09/10): Unemployed/Worcester (Conf. South)

18th Pts.: 43

Was unemployed until a couple of days before Christmas. Took over Worcester who were rock bottom at the time. Ended the season 3 points clear of relegation.

Wasn´t involved in cups this season, as Worcester had already left them when I came in.

Season 5 (10/11): Worcester (Conf. South)

21st Pts.: 36

I just love it. Five games into the season and we are in the top half, and looking unbeatable. 36 games later and we are 21st, and need to win the last game to stand any chance of staying up. The game is at home against Kidderminster who has already won the league. Half time and we are leading 2-1, and it looked like we were winning, until the 86th minute when Kidderminster was awarded a controversial penalty, and 2-2 it is. 92 minutes and we get a penalty....the game obviously ends at 2-2, and I have sent yet another team out of Conference North/South.

We won 6 out 42 games, nobody won less games in the league. We scored 30 goals in 42 games, nobody scored less. 72 yellow cards and 12 red cards, more than anyone else. Conclusion: We probably deserve to go down.

On the other hand: 18 drawn games, managed to avoid losing/winning in more games than any other team. Conceded 50 goals, only ten teams conceded less goals. Conclusion: Well it doesn´t really matter how much I try to look on the bright side of life, we went down and I´ve got to find me another club.
