My first 'proper' Llama game begins with Kidderminster Harriers. Having had a successful pre-season (losing two, drawing two, winning one) by the standards of the team I have, and having sent my scouts out to cream off the best (i.e least worst) in England I head into the season with high hopes.
Which are immediately shattered in the first five games. We average a goal a game, but so far are conceding three - something needs to be done! Bottom of the conference with a single point (a thrilling 3 - 3 against Stafford Rangers, followed by a 5 - 0 thumping by dags and red )and with the end of the transfer window days away I realise the key issue. My 19 y/o keeper doesn't know how to stop the ball going in his net! Time for a new keeper.
