I've taken over at Club X (Conf N) and decided that the players are being paid too much. I've offered them a new deal, which most are accepting at a lower weekely wage and no bonuses.

When taking over at the beginning of the season, my coach said a GK has huge potential, but he has Low Detimination. Well he blinking has not, he is asking for huge bonuses and will not accept what I'm giving him. Low Determination my backside. Wish I could tell him to think about that and apply it to his overall game.

Depends on your take on such things I guess. There are instances of players, whatever the sport, been asked to take wage cuts to ease financial burdens that might threaten a clubs survival and such. Ive only offered players less in contract negotiations when joining the club, not when Ive taken over. The high paid chaff tend to get offloaded to other clubs.
