I have, as well as others, encountered this particular "bug" in the game engine which allows my scout to sweep, by the looks of it, the whole country searching for players and coming back with thousands of players, even though he has only been gone 40 days or so,works part-time and has a weekly salary of 20 pounds.
Is this accepted at all? Can it be considered as not breaking the LLM rules of playing because there is no use of the search engine at all (the zealous LLM way of playing) and that he is merely doing his job super-efficiently?
Or is this unrealistic? It would be preferable to hear some of the more experienced LLMas voice their opinion on this.
The only way around it would be to re-install the game without patching it afterwards. But then we would have to endure the other bugs all over again. As you probably understand, I am not at all positive to this option.
You'll notice we talk about it in length in the since the patch thread, and the bugs thread about this was opened by and mostly contributed to by LLaMas.
The problem is not the use of scouts to find players, it's the silly numbers they come back with.
I did open the other thread thinking that it be used to discuss all Llama issues with the new patch but lets be honest the scouting problem is the only one anyone cares about at the moment. Good news on that though at least SI are looking at the problem.
