Ah Mississauga is always cold. The east end is where it's at.
Guinness is right. We're not Canadian. We're not American either. Maybe the whole Greater Toronto Area should be a distinct society.
Although we do have MLS starting next year. Toronto FC? Shouldn't it be Toronto SC over here?

You'll learn that MLS names are total bullsh*t no matter what. My personal favorites are D.C. "United" WITH WHAT??? They never united to anything, and "Real" Salt Lake. I guess they thought that "Salt Lake" sounded like "Sociedad" or something.

Actually one of the names they did nto pick was Inter Toronto.
If that was the chosen name I would have had to boycott Toronto and football as a whole in that order. Even the memory makes me shudder.

But the "DC United" argument falls on deaf ears. It's a good name, and IIRC there are some "United"s in Europe that aren't the result of mergers.
