I did some testings with 3 scouts in Con North.Each of them had extensive knowledge in diferent countries (England, Ireland and N.Ireland). Last 2 had england knowledge roughly around 33% of the bar.
After 3 months , england expert came up with 2000 players , while other 2 got around 50+ players.
Maybe, expertise needs to be lowered for countries that your knowledge is best.(meaning lower efficiency of scout knowledgable in england in this case )

I don't understand what the knowledge of countries thing actually means. Do the scouts get lost or something?

If I understand the coding, it means that scouts with good knowledge know where the best pubs are. Therefore, they spend the duration of their trip pished and the players they 'find' are those recommended to them by fellow drinking den patrons.

Scouts with poor knowledge are unable to acquire a decent pint and thus must resort to the poor man's alternative: atanding in the cold, watching football matches and training sessions.

No wonder the players attributes are masked out, they dont know who they are what they are, just names from fellow Bass drinkers!

Wouldn't it be fair to assume that your chap scouting England has a far bigger pool of players from which to recommend? A scout in N. Ireland might have to see a good few games before finding anyone with potential.

Doesn't work that way. I created a save with large database in Slovenia and send my scout out. In 5 days or something like that, he found 315 players :eek:
