Since the Patch

Only getting around 600 total at Championship level in my continued game. Am willing to theorise the adjustment now means the scouts are worked out on region during the scouting of a nation, so instead of doing it by jumping from club to club each day, it say gets through a county in one day. At lower levels, when anything is likely to be better than you have, thats going to mean a lot of players added each day.

Flea, this may not be as simple as changing one line of code and having it fixed. I'm guessing things that are going into the mini-patch are just things that were already discovered but not fixed, or were made even better once they released the patch.

I would honestly say do not patch.

There were no major issues before now if you send you scout out he finds half the database

I am practically using the player search screen

I created a game with only all english leagues selected, without retaining any players. Assigned the scout to scout england and went to holiiday untill 28th august. The scout had found loads of players, majority with contracts, but about 50 without. I have always played the game so that if i don't have transfer funds, i only sign free agents since i dont think it's realistic to try fish key players from other clubs for free. So maybe with imagination i can accept this bug untill it's fixed...(to be continued)

....with following rules: Only taking into accout those players who are free agents, and only allowing one search per year. c.50 players should be enough to choose from.
What do other ppl think about this? I really like how the game has been improved(especially the game engine) in this new patch, except for this scouting(and contract)downer. But i still haven't been able to convince myself totally that it is the way to go.
