Yeah my scouts gone ruddy mental as well. I spent most of last night adding players that he'd recommended to my shortlist. I'm in Northern Ireland and he seems to have an opinion on most players in the province. Still -only three wanted to sign for me, and then at higher wages than they would have done pre-patch.

New game after clean system reinstall: ITA, SPA, FRA, GER and ENG down to lowest. Large database. Managing in Italy. No player retention.
Total players found by scout so far: 2 after 42 days.
Not so über IMHO.

So maybe its an effect of patching a previously created savegame?

| No it isn't Matt. I have exerimented with both saved & new game, with a variety of database sizes, with or without retained players, & the same thing occurs each time. Basically , the scout finding 100's of players. I notice UELLFan never had this problem, so I wonder if it is more of a problem in the UK.

| No. If you read my post from The Hut (and quoted above) it was a brand new save created after the patch was applied.

Yo, guys...as much as you're LLaMas, and this is like a home to you, items like this should be posted in the bugs forum if they're to be addressed in a potential further patch.

I didn't want to post it as a bug until I had sounded out some other LLaMas, Ian, but given that there seems to be more than one case (and I now have time as it is lunchtime and I've popped home quickly rather than suffer the awful N3 NHS link) its been posted in the bugs forum  | |
